going forward. Please bear with her as she finds a suitable alternative.
Apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused.\n\n\n\nFrequently Asked
Questions (FAQ)\n\nDo I need to prepare anything in advance?\n\nIt's gene
rally a good idea to have these in your pocket before HWCs:\n\n\nPrepare a
brief 1-2 minute self-introduction (used when there are newcomers)\nBring
along at least one topic/idea/question for group discussion (in case we r
un out of topics!)\n\n\nWhat can I expect at the meeting?\n\nWe’ll discu
ss a variety of topics\, such as website ideas and design\, HTML/CSS\, per
sonal publishing\, and practical ways to take control of your online ident
ity. There’s also time for casual conversation\, progress sharing/demos\
, and getting to meet other members of the IndieWeb community!\n\nThere is
no expectation for you to turn on video if you so wish. A photo / screens
hot will be taken midway during the event (with ample notice\, you don't h
ave to be in it if you don't want to). This is used for the weekly IndieWe
b newsletter and for participants to share.\n\nDo I need to RSVP?\n\nRSVP
is not required (you can just show up)\, but it is appreciated! Everyone i
s welcome\, regardless of experience. If your personal website supports it
\, you can post an Indie RSVP or login to this site and click the \"I'm Go
ing\" button below. To login with your site\, check IndieKey.\n\nHow do I
know if an event is on?\n\nIf the event is cancelled or postponed\, it wil
l be indicated on this page. To see what's upcoming\, visit the main Event

organized by Naty S. Her IndieWeb chat name is: burgeonlab. If you are bas
ed in a similar time zone and have interest in co-hosting\, please reach o
ut!\n\nWhy is there another remote HWC event?\n\nExisting remote HWCs are
centred around US and European time zones. This session is created to make
it easier for people in Southeast Asia\, Australia\, New Zealand\, and ne
arby regions to join and take part in the IndieWeb conversation.\n\nThe
“Asia Pacific” label just indicates the time zone. You’re welcome to
join from anywhere in the world if the time works!\n\nWhat other events a
re there?\n\nVisit IndieWeb Events or subscribe to the iCal to see other u
pcoming events are available in your time zone or location.\n\nI have more
questions!\n\nIf you want to discuss anything related to this event (befo
re\, during or after)\, you can send a message on the IndieWeb chat using
the #events channel. The chat is bridged to different platforms\, includin
g IRC\, Discord\, Slack or chat in the browser.\n\nAsk and be patient\; so
