Homebrew Website Club Philadelphia is an in-person meetup where we discuss designing, developing, and hosting our personal websites as a way to take back our online identities and control our content. This is an in-person-only event.

Common discussion topics include: - Website design and development with HTML and CSS - Progress and breakthroughs for attendees' personal sites - IndieWeb standards and goings-on - Hosting websites and services - Retro websites and webrings - Miscellaneous chit chat!
All skill / experience levels welcome, don't feel like you need to have a functional website to join in - just an interest in making your own home on the web!
That said, please bring a laptop :) Iffy Books has some loaner computers, but if you're planning on showing off your site or working on it during the meetup, it's probably best that you have your own laptop handy.
