January Movie Club
Calling all cinephiles! Join us for a new monthly series to talk about all things movies, including current and recent picks from the ongoing blogging carnival.
The IndieWeb Movie Club has been running for over a year and a half! Now we'll have a space to bring everyone into the same (virtual) room to talk through the films in real time, with plenty of room for side tangents, links, and blog-worthy ideas.
Topics for our first session will include:
- Matt Lee will join to talk about his selection for December, Ghost World.

- The movie is available for free streaming on YouTube
- Al Abut's January pick, Alien
We'll also open things up for movie talk in general: comparisons to earlier films, favorite scenes, visual style and cinematography, how these movies handle character and pacing, and any other movie-related rabbit holes people want to explore.
You do not need to have seen these movies or even to RSVP. No slides, no formal talks, just a group of IndieWeb-friendly folks chatting about films.
